Our Human Body A Paragraph

The pancreas lives behind the stomach making enzymes which can help digest proteins, fats, and carbohydrates before they reach the small intestine. Another function the pancreas does is make insulin which controls how the body stores and uses glucose which is very important because if you don't have insulin from the pancreas the glucose will get stuck in your bloodstream. The pancreas is 15 cm.

  1. Kia ora Jet! Thank you for sharing a snippet of your writing from this weeks mahi. It was interesting to learn how long the pancreas was. I was left wondering though, what happens if glucose gets stuck in your bloodstream? Look forward to seeing your work in term 4.
